The European Center for Digital Action (ECDA) works with progressive political and civil society organizations to help them use the best tactics and tools for their campaigns. We help organizations adopt the right mindset, help build capacity, and consult on campaign plans.
Junior Digital Organizer
Key responsibilites:
As a Junior Digital Organizer, you will be responsible for working with our client outreach and program management teams to assist them in their daily work.
The role is a good opportunity for new graduates or young professionals at an exciting and dynamic small organization. Our clients are spread across Europe, and we work with a variety of progressive political parties and advocacy organizations.
ECDA offers progressive political parties and organizations help with a variety of software and tools that help them achieve the results they want. As a Junior Digital Organizer, your responsibility would be to work directly with clients to design and implement digital campaigns using our software. The campaigns cover a wide variety, and this role requires flexibility and the ability to immerse oneself in very different contexts and environments. Understanding digital tools, and having experience with digital advocacy is an asset.
The first few months would be spent learning our tools and campaigning. You would work directly with clients to implement the campaigns that were designed together.
Your tasks include:

Providing day-to-day support to the project management team.

Assisting with ongoing projects, client relationships.

Conducting research on political marketing platforms for ongoing projects.

Producing reports, powerpoints, research briefs, case studies.

Train progressive organizations on how to use digital tools.
Your profile:

Remote working: Comfortable and efficient when working remotely.
-
Progressive political interests: Interested in progressive politics, political campaigning, digital technologies and data-driven engagements.

Political or activist experience: 2-3 years experience either in a political party or advocacy group running digital campaigns

Digitally savvy: Experience using digital tools for campaigning or fundraising (mailing lists, social media campaigns, social media ads, etc).

Fundraising experience: Experience with planning and executing fundraising campaigns.

Skills: Strong analytical, writing and presentation skills. Excellent time management skills.

Curious: Eager to learn new skills, both soft and hard, and finding innovative solutions to challenges as they arise.

English language: An excellent level of English both written and speaking. This is our primary working language internally and with clients.
Nice-to-haves:

Fluency in another European language is a strong advantage (particularly German, Spanish, Italian or French)

Master’s degree or advanced studies in political science, public administration, public policy, sociology, business, economics, management, or relevant field

Experience managing a large email list

Experience in designing and running experiments and A/B tests

Experience working with clients

Experience using ActionNetwork, CiviCRM, Nationbuilder, Lunda
