Position: Communications Internship at the European Center for Digital Action
Start date: 1 October 2026
Application deadline: 20 September 2026

Location: Remote with working hours in the CET time zone
Are you passionate about digital activism and progressive causes? Do you want to learn how to build the capacity of progressives in Europe through knowledge sharing and education? If so, we invite you to join our team as a Communications Intern at the European Center for Digital Action.
The European Center for Digital Action (ECDA) works with progressive political parties, trade unions and civil society organizations. Our mission is to build progressive majorities across Europe by equipping progressives with the tools, strategies and skills they need — from digital organizing and small-donor fundraising to cutting-edge technology and campaign tactics. We work with progressives to grow communities, engage supporters and mobilize for social and political change.
We offer practical support: resources, training, expert advice, and access to the best technology. We also create space to share learning, showcase best practices, and connect across borders — so that together, progressives can increase their impact across Europe.

As a Communications Intern, you will support our team across all areas of output, including social media, analytics, website, blog, newsletter, online events and offline events (if applicable). The ideal candidate is actively engaged on social media and has basic editing/graphic design skills.

Regular monitoring and reporting on social media trends and campaigns relevant to our organization.
