Overview

The ‘Introduction to digital organizing’ is a 4 week online course covering the foundations for digital organizing. Participants will develop foundational competencies in digital organizing including digital organizing concepts, email campaigning, small donor fundraising and testing and metrics applicable to their day-to-day work. They will also have the opportunity to build relationships with other organizers working around Europe from Belfast to Belgrade.

The program is tailored for early-career progressive practitioners, or for those new to digital organizing, who work or volunteer in political parties, advocacy organizations, media, or trade unions.

Registration

Registration closes on Friday 8 May 18:00CET or when places are exhausted. Please note this training is only available to those living/working within Europe.

We have a total of 25 places available.

What you will learn

 

  1. Foundational concepts for effective digital organizing.
  2. Practical frameworks and skills to build, engage & mobilize your supporter base.
  3. How small donations work and how to connect with supporters.
  4. How to run an A/B test and track meaningful metrics.

Dates & structure

The course begins on Monday 18 May and runs for 4 consecutive weeks, finishing on Wednesday 10 June.

 

Each week includes:

  • One 90 minute training & workshop on Wednesdays at 3:00PM, via zoom.

  • Weekly readings

  • Weekly practical activities 

  • Online discussions

In total participants should expect to dedicate around 2.5 hrs each week to the course.

Cost

Cost for participation is €100.00 per person (VAT not included). An invoice will be sent upon registration and payment must be made before the first session takes place.

Meet the team

Holly Dawson - trainer

Holly is a campaigner and trainer with over a decade of experience working in both progressive political parties and advocacy NGOs. Holly previously worked with Getup!, Greenpeace, and the Online Progressive Engagement Network (OPEN) where she delivered trainings in 20 countries.
